Our Story
Katelyn and
Brad met on a
blind date with a little help from some mutual
high school friends, which was at the
worst Chinese food restaurant in town… Seriously, the food was terrible.
The first impression? Brad thought Katelyn was adorable but had a fiery intensity (which alluded to fear and intrigue) while she couldn’t get over his skater look and thought he was too quiet for her liking.
On their second date Brad took Katelyn to a Green Day concert where he opened up about his love of music and retro video games, while Katelyn realized, “I can work with this” and decided to give him a chance.
Needless to say, opposites do attract and they spent the next decade moving between four states, three apartments, and one home, all while sharing a love of cooking, their two cats, and screaming at the top of their lungs playing Mario.
On Christmas day of two thousand and fifteen Brad got down on one knee and proposed to Katelyn behind her childhood home where they had made so many memories over the years. She said yes (of course)!
And on the fifteenth of October two thousand and sixteen Katelyn and Brad will finally say I do, and cannot wait to share the memory with you!
